Arctic Lodge Tromvik with jacuzzi

Wir hatten uns in diesem Jahr für einen Sommerurlaub in Norwegen entschieden. Die Wahl fiel auf das Haus in Tromvik und es war eine gute Wahl. Es hat Schlafplätze für 6 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder. Wir waren zu dritt, aber ich denke mit 4 Personen ist man gut aufgehoben. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern lief unkompliziert und war stets sehr hilfreich, inklusive wichtigen Informationen die uns jede Menge Zeit und Nerven bei der Anreise gespart haben. Nun zum Haus, es liegt in dem kleinen Dorf Tromvik und ist nur wenige Meter vom Meer/ Sandstrand entfernt. Es war ein Traum bei relativ guten Lichtverhältnissen, morgens um 2:00 Uhr früh baden zu gehen oder einfach nur die Gezeiten zu beobachten und Muscheln zu sammeln. Zum Haus können wir nur positives berichten. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und auch für Leute mit Rückenproblemen optimal. Ich habe selbst das Problem mit dem Rücken und hatte in den Nächten keine Sorgen. In der Küche findet man alles, was benötigt wird, inklusive großen Kühlschrank. Die Waschmaschine spart Reisegepäck , was im Winter sicher doppelt so wichtig ist. Im Sommer lädt die Terrasse mit schönen Sitzbänken zum Grillen ein. Der Whirlpool ist dann natürlich ein besonderes Highlight - Bademäntel und Badelatschen sind auch dafür vorhanden. Für die kühleren Jahreszeiten ist eine große Sitzecke im Haus und ein gemütlicher Kamin vorhanden. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden sofort wieder zurück fahren.

Es gibt nichts negatives zu sagen. Man sollte nur wissen, dass man eigentlich ein Auto benötigt um Lebensmittel zu besorgen. Natürlich ist es mit den sehr guten Busverbindungen in Norwegen auch gut möglich seine Versorgung und Aktivitäten zu organisieren.

This place is very well provisioned - had absolutely everything we needed during our stay. The owners were very helpful and communicative. The house itself was very comfortable for our family. The location is absolutely stunning, the mountain and sea views were breathtaking. We did one of the hikes recommended by the host and couldn't have asked for better weather to see the surrounding islands.

The lodge is absolutely fantastic. All the the kitchen, bedroom and living room are top tier and very comfy. The whole place is excellent! Jacuzzi in the freezing cold of Tromvik's winter was no joke and still very fun! The fjords in the surroundings are astonishing and there are several parking places along the way, for those who come by car. We had 2 days with bad weather and 3 days with excellent weather. The lodge itself handles both conditions very well. We followed the recommendation in the rules book and went to Brosmetinden in both of the good weather nights to chase the northern lights and it paid off. The other 2 bad weather nights had aurora activity as well tho, we just couldn't barely see anything (we did it for a glimpse) because of the clouds. The lodge is a 1h drive from Tromso. We experienced the round-trip of the road to the city in all of the 4 nights and it was indeed manageable in the worst weather conditions as well, as long as you take your time driving. We got all conditions: rain, ice, snow, sun. When the weather is good, the views are insane and totally worth the distance from Tromso. I would even say Tromso is not a cozy city at all, but Tromvik was a paradise for that purpose, so the choice was perfect. I would never write this down in the "didn't like" section at all. Northern lights, fantastic fjord views, insane sunset and even polar clouds! We got them all. 100% recommended!

Amenity packed plush interiors, Kitchen with a view. The location is so amazing that you see Northern Lights from the patio of the house while unwinding in a Jacuzzi.

There was nothing that anyone would find unpleasant.

Its was really cosy house with everything you need during your stay. We saw the northern lights almost everyday and it was spectacular view.

It was all perfect.

Nice and easy communication already before we arrived. There are many advantages, just to mention some of them: -the house being already warm&cozy when we arrived -sense of music of the owners: installed their private Spotify premium account -beautiful Interieur like the hanging guitar -attentive gestures like shower gel&shampoo in the bathroom or a big welcome bowl with snacks and drinks -nice neighbors who helped out when we got stuck in the snow with the car -jacuzzi -well equipped kitchen -opportunity to wash clothes -landscape … last but not least overly warm hearted and laidback landlords who created a beautiful home for their guests.
