Seaview Suite at Rainbow Paradise

Lovely view over the bay, beautiful sunsets, two balconies, comfortable beds, good location, friendly owner, high-level floor

The studio is in a fairly dated hotel, that's way past it's prime time. You couldn't take a shower without also flooding the floor. The kitchen doesn't have a stove or usable cooking utensils - there is a microwave oven, however. Depending on wind & weather, one can hear the nearby mosques, and the noise from jetskis / speedboats near the beach. If you're used to malaysian standards, you will most probably like it.

Great location, great views, very nice pool. Hot water, cool aircon. Great service from great owners. Nothing to dislike at all.

The room was very clean, neat and most importantly had an amazing view! Definitely worth the price just for the view and location. Just steps away from the beach, has a lovely beach bar. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it!

The room had a great sea view and really clean. The host gave Instructions clear as well.

Parking may be a bit limited during peak season. I was here during off peak so wasn't too affected.

- First of all, this unit is a privately owned unit and have nothing to do with the hotel itself. The reviews on the hotel as a whole do not do John justice, as his room was extremely nice as compared to the rest. (based on pictures) - The unit is renovated and is furnished with modern furnitures. - John also turned on the a/c while waiting for us to check in to his unit, so we were greeted by both the warmth of his presence and the comfort of the cool air which was a great comfort after our long hours of traveling. - We got the unit at a higher floor, so the sea view from both the balconies of the bedroom and the living area was amazing!

- The only flaw that I'd like to comment (which is out of John's control), is the rundown hallway and elevators. - The dim lights and worn out carpets can be quite scary if you are walking alone along the corridors, but it didn't really bothered us that much because the occupancy rate of that floor was quite high during our stay, we were always greeted by friendly faces of our neighbours which shared the same sentiment of the spooky hallways.

The host has been extremely helpful. He is a very nice person, and could not do more for us. The apartment is well decorated and very comfortable. It is great for a long stay.
