Camp Margaritaville Auburndale RV Resort and Cabana Cabins

The pool and tiki area were very nice. Lots to do and watch. The Halloween festivities were also a nice touch. The room had lots of space, and had it been in better condition, it would have been great.

Our room was not great. Immediately upon arriving we found 3 dead cockroaches in the bedroom floor, and a pile of debris that they had left after mopping/sweeping. The floors overall were very dirty. Overall, it looked well past its prime- the paint was chipping, the counters/cabinets had the lamination peeling off and it just felt a bit uncared for. Additionally, the Keurig machine in our room didn’t work (I have the same in at home, so I know how to use it). We stayed here for a friends birthday celebration (they rented an event space), and had it not been for that, I never would have paid almost $300 to stay at an RV park.

Proximity to soccer fields and options for things to do during down time.

The master bed was really squeaky and not so comfy. Also, the location of the twin bed next to the bathroom wasn’t ideal. I wish there was a bit for food options, considering there is not much nearby.

The security / late night check in, was so convenient because we had a party of 6, arriving at different times. And some of us arrived late night. And the security/front gate at the entrance to the resort was very thorough at confirming our ID and and our reservation. Before allowing us to enter. Very professional, but very thorough. Not a long process, 10 minutes or so. Some people may find that an inconvenience. But for us, i appreciate that level of knowing who is coming and going from the facility. I feel they hold their properties to a higher standard than some camp grounds my family had been to. This definitely is not just your ordinary camp ground. It is fun for all, adults and children. Great for families, and for a couples weekend get away. And again, i felt very confident with their security at the front entrance. So thank you Camp Margaritaville Auburndale. And the day pass u offer for guests that just want to enjoy your facility for the day. Is an added plus. I live locally and have taken advantage of all that you offer. Will be back soon.
