ATLocation to beach, bakery, local store was great. The view from 3rd floor of beach, sunset and strip was as good as it gets. The ability to have a simple food from trucks on the street was also practical. Surprisingly it was not loud which I was thankful for. I was also happy about the free private parking located on site. But opening the gate with electric problems was not simply.
2000.00 € for 8/9 nights and have a bed that was that hard was very bad. It should have been WAY more comfortable. Hardest bed I have slept on in my life. A/C went out, being on 3rd-top floor did not take long for apartment to heat up fast. The host was not that attentive to help but eventually did. I also contacted booking because that was unacceptable. Very poor draining in shower, had to stop showering every 2 minutes to let rising water go down. 6/ hours the water and electricity was off? Not a convenience. If you run too many things the circuit will break and you have to go down stairs and flip the switch. Door broke…. could not take key out???? Wtf? Got no help from host when I showed him a video. So all and all there was always something to think about what would come next.
GBThe apartment is nice enough, well specced and a nice view of the seafront. There are some nice restaurants nearby, and the beach is okay. Its the kind of place you need to have rented a car, and if so then you can visit lots of places nearby.
However, and what cannot be helped by the owner, is the depressingly filthy streets nearby. As soon as you explore the nearby neighbourhood, or walk into Trapani, you'll feel like you have been transported to the developing world, and not a nation that is the 9th largest economy in the world. If you stick to the apartment block, the beach, some of the restaurants nearby I'm sure you will be fine, but unfortunately I cannot see myself ever going back to Sicily again.
PLThe best thing about the apartament was that it had air contidioning in every room. Also the contact with Angelo was amazing, he helped us whenever we needed and also gave us a lot of tips about staying in Trapani😊 I really recommend it!!!
The location is the only problem if you don’t have a car in my opinion- it’s about 40 minutes walk from the center of Trapani but the good thing is that there is a bus stop right in front of the apartament
GBThe apartment is lovely, set on two levels with a wonderful sea view. The bakery around the corner is delightful. Angelo was extremely helpful and very accommodating. The pool is large.
The location isn't very good, there are minimal restaurants around. The walk into trapani where the bars and restaurants are is a 48 minute walk away. You have to wear a swimming cap in the pool which in 33 degree heat is tough. There are no sun loungers around the pool, just chairs.
