Well equipped and comfortable cottage with gorgeous harbour views

Needs a bit of freshening up

Absolutely gorgeous, characterful property.

We had a bit of difficulty locating the property originally and the reliability of available parking was a bit of a strain.

Location and views were very good, very well furnished, very clean.

No Microwave, foggy windows, noisey bed, shower very hard to turn on,

The cottage is very well located, only a short walk from the front, pubs and shops etc. The views we're lovely and the place was more spacious then expected. It was a comfortable stay, and we appreciated having toilet roll, laundry liquid, washing up liquid etc, on arrival.

The two main windows at the front of the cottage have gone foggy which does impact the views. The main bedroom could do with a blind to block out the early morning light. Not a problem for us, but some people may find the steps up to the property and front garden a bit steep, but fairly typical for the location.

The location was very good and so was the size of the house for us. We appreciated the sitting area being open plan with the kitchen. Thank you.

We were cold. The heating did work but took an hour or so to kick in. There was a really strong cold draft coming in through the internal front door. A draught protector and curtain would do magic here and keep the bills down too. Likewise a rug in the sitting area would have made us feel warmer. Perhaps a curtain on the big picture window downstairs would also help keep in the heat as well as making it feel warmer.

The shower did not work! It needs fixing - seems to be seized up It was impossible to use the oven as the control markings had worn off - needs a guide Parking is always tricky - easier midweek
