Indos Dive Homestay-Raja Ampat

Kaloli (Jufri) y toda la familia nos han tratado como unos mas. Si te interesa ofrecen tours a Piaynemo o para avistar aves del paraíso. La comida estaba riquisima y el lugar es espectacular. Puedes disfrutar de la puesta de sol desde la terraza. Detras del homestay hay un poblado muy aténtico con locales que te reciben muy bien como turista. Hemos estado 3 noches y si hubiesemos podido hubieramos alargado mas! Esperamos poder volver algun día ❤️

L’homestay se situe à l’entrée du village de Gam. On peut y accéder à pied et être au plus près des locaux. Cela renforce la sensation d’être intégré à la vie locale. La nourriture du homestay est sûrement la meilleure que j’ai pu manger pendant mon voyage aux Raja. Bcp de vie dans le homestay grâce à la présence des enfants.

Indos Homestay est un lieu rare, pour ceux qui cherchent une immersion vraie dans la vie papoue. Les enfants, curieux et bienveillants, vous accompagnent avec joie pour explorer leur village, pratiquer l’anglais, observer les oiseaux du paradis ou partager un moment de snorkeling. Leur sincérité est désarmante. Geoffrey, l’hôte, est engagé, solidaire et profondément attaché à la préservation de sa culture. Il est aussi l’un des rares à proposer un paiement par carte, un vrai plus quand on n’a plus de cash. À dix mètres du bungalow, commence un jardin sous-marin : tortues, poissons-clowns, Napoléons… La barrière est toute proche. Prévoyez palmes ou chaussons. Des excursions inoubliables sont proposées à des prix honnêtes, notamment vers la baie de Gam et ses méduses inoffensives, ses chauves-souris (merci de respecter leur habitat), ses dauphins et raies. Cette baie est restée intacte grâce à la résistance des habitants face à des promoteurs sans scrupules. Les repas sont exceptionnels, préparés par Fani avec une humilité touchante. Poissons pêchés du jour, plats savoureux, beignets de banane à 16h, petits déjeuners simples mais nourrissants. C’est l’une des meilleures cuisines que j’aie goûtées en voyage. Mais surtout, un message essentiel : ce village est vivant. Les sons, les voix, la musique font partie de son âme. Trop de visiteurs ont exigé le silence, poussant les habitants à étouffer leur quotidien pour plaire aux touristes. Ce n’est pas juste. Si vous cherchez le calme absolu, d’autres homestays plus isolés existent. Ici, on vient pour partager, pas pour dominer. Indos Homestay est une invitation à vivre Raja Ampat autrement : avec respect, écoute et gratitude.

Les touristes qui se plaignent de la musique et du bruit. Ce qui pousse les villageois à rester en apnée sociale, par peur de déranger les étrangers.

Woorden tekort om uit te leggen hoe geweldig Indos homestay is. Samen met onze kinderen (14 en 15) verbleven wij 5D/4N en hadden de allerbeste tijd. Al jaren reizen wij als gezin door Zuid-Oost Azië maar onze tijd in Raja Ampat bij Indos nu favoriet en bovenaan onze lijst. De bungalows zijn comfortabel en de familie doet er alles aan het je naar je zin te maken. Vanaf het allereerste moment, de ophaal vanaf de ferry uit Sorong, was alles goed geregeld. De trips met Kaloli en zijn team zijn onvergetelijk. Een warme herinnering voor het leven, iedereen was zo lief en behulpzaam. De voorzieningen zoals badkamer en toilet op het strand zijn basic maar heel schoon. Alles wat je nodig hebt is er en meer. Geen Wifi en electriciteit overdag maar wel van 6 uur ‘s avonds tot 6 uur ‘s ochtends. Ontbijt bestond soms uit home baked lekkernijen zoals chocolade cake of gebakken banaan maar ook traditioneel gebakken rijst. Lunch evenals diner verdienen een Michelin ster. In Indonesië kan je overal heerlijk eten maar Fanny haar gerechten waren next level en een van de beste tijdens onze reis. Hopelijk geeft ze ooit kookworkshops ter plaatse. Elke dag de mooiste zonsondergang en dit samen met het eten, is het reden genoeg om hier te komen. De gidsen en schippers zijn zeer ervaren. Onze trips naar Pyainemo, Gam, Mansuar geweldig. Zwemmen met de zeeschildpadden, stingless Jellyfish, dolfijn spotting, zelfs Mantas buiten het seizoen het was allemaal onvergetelijk. Het rif in Raja Ampat heeft fantastisch koraal maar ook onder water bij Indos homestay. Wakker worden en een snorkelduik voor je deur, het was een droom. De locatie van Indos is perfect en een goede basis om Raja Ampat te verkennen. Via de weg op het strand kan je lopen naar het dichtstbijzijnde dorp en er is een winkeltje waar je frisdranken en snacks kan kopen. Een lagere school met kinderen nabij is speciaal en de families begroeten je met warmte. Je bent op deze plek echt onder de locals.

A wonderful stay in Gam. We went here for our honeymoon and the homestay put flowers on the bed so nice! The food was so amazing! The family is also very nice and helped us with the birds of paradise tour & snorkeltrip to Arborek. Also the sunset is sooo pretty from the homestay❤️

We liked the location of the homestay. It has a nice view with nice sunsets. Behind the floating house there's a village where you can roam around. Also the food was good and there was a lot of variation.

We would prefer if there was a kind of a shower in stead of the bucket shower. But it's not necessary. Just know that there are basic needs and you'll be fine!

This homestay on Besir island is ideally located near several interests spots in Raja Ampat. The place is calm, only two cabins on the water, connected to a village full of charm. The utilities are on the beach, near the owner's house. It's very clean and has everything required to answer basic needs. Regarding the rooms, mosquito net on the bed, fan, electricity at night, blankets, hammock, sunbed and basic furnitures. All the meals (included in the reservation) are served to your cabin, they vary and are prepared by an great cook! So everything is tasteful and good. No connection except if you get a SIM card on arrival at Sorong's airport but deconnection is great. It's easy to communicate with the owner who speaks well English (rare in Raja Ampat) and he tries his best for you to have the best stay possible. Him and his family are super nice and welcoming while respecting your privacy. I came with a friend and we stayed 3 full days, we had an amazing time there and we can only recommend this place. All the activities we've done through them were memorable, we had a lot of fun. Have a good holiday there!
