amplio apartamento con cocina funcional, nevera, aire acondicionado, en muy buen estado de conservación y muy limpio en zona tranquila. hay terraza con hamaca. y TV. muy seguro por la instalación de varias cancelas.

debería reflexionar para encontrar algo que no me gustó, tal vez otro juego de toallas pudiera haber venido bien.

The rooms themselves are fine, but need to be deep cleaned. I did not find the area dangerous, as other reviews mentioned, as two females we felt fine.

Very dirty, when we arrived there were cockroaches in the coffee machine, which was not clean. The hot plate and pan (only way to cook) were disgusting and clearly had not been cleaned with rice or something all over it. The microwave in the hallway also did not work, but was replaced after we let the owner know. We booked this place because it had facilities to cook- but they were so dirty we did not feel comfortable using them, even the sponge was brown it was so old. If we had known this, we would have booked a nicer place without a kitchen. The toilet also did not flush well if at all. The bathroom smelled HORRID, and even with the door shut, the smell would waft into the room so you could smell it in bed. I was hesitant to book this place because of the mixed reviews, but gave it the benefit of the doubt and wish I hadn't. Our stay was very uncomfortable because of the uncleanliness. Very unfortunate for a family-run local place.

Location was great. The gentleman, Lance, looking after the arrival of guests while “mama” was away was very friendly and offered great advice on eating spots, recreation opportunities and colectivo routes. The adult son, Profiro, was also very welcoming.

The 2 bikes were in bad shape but we’re always prepared for that. We repaired the tires, bottom brackets and did a thorough cleaning and lubrication of the chains. Then they were good to go! Used them daily to get to the beach.

No microwave and no toaster oven

There was free water provided, the AC and shower worked well.

The bed was rather uncomfortable, there is a decent amount of noise from the road in the morning, and they didn't give us another thin blanket when we asked. Figured it wasn't a lot to ask for, but I guess it was. The worst part was that the toilet stopped working in the evening and while we were ok that it couldn't be fixed the same evening, the plumber knocked on our door at around 7 am the next morning, waking us up. Therefore, we ended up having no toilet and no sleep (although it did flush once we poured water from the sink into the toilet bowl). While Puerto Morelos is a nice town, we were glad we only ended up staying one night.
