Getting the key from the brewhouse was smooth and easy. The shared kitchen was a nice touch.

There was an exhaust vent of a restaurant/pub close to the window, because of this the whole room smelled of diep fried food. The faucet was loose. I don't know if the room (room 4) is shown on any pictures, but it is very small.

This is a basic and simple room. The bed was comfortable. There is an in-room hair dryer. There is a small kitchen that is available for guests.

Check-in process. You go to a restaurant a block or so away to get the key. We went there to see about getting into our room 1.5 hrs. early. A worker confirmed our reservation and was handing us the key, when he was interrupted. A female (assume manager) said that we couldn't check-in until 15:00 our original time - even though our room was ready. On street parking is free after 6:00 PM. We ended up parking blocks away at the Visitors Information Center. Rooms face a street with bars and it can be noisy at night.

Good location and generally pretty modern.

I think it used to be a bar, so the bathroom was like the disabled toilet from a bar, including a urinal and hand dryer. It made it feel very clinical, not cosy or warm. There is also pretty much no windows and you can’t see out what ones their are - one had a broken blind and the other area for light was the front door in which had frosted glass. It made you feel like you were in a basement. It wasn’t super clean, there were some small things that implied the effort just wasn’t put in (no bin bag in a bin for example). I also had to request an iron and ironing board. To be fair to the owner they were responsive in getting one but it was a bit of a nuisance as we were in town for a wedding and sort of needed it in a hurry. We also had drama getting our key, as the owner had told us that it was waiting and we could put bags in our room early as we had the wedding, so we arrived to hear they had accidentally given someone else our key. Someone working there called and got the cleaner to come give her key to us but it meant we had to wait, and were almost late for the wedding. To top it off the cleaner was rude and implied it was our fault she had to return from her lunch to give the key, when in fact it was within their own team that the problem arose. I think for the price and experience we had, I would choose somewhere else in town.

Cependant, le logement est très sommaire et nous avons rencontré 3 coupures de courant dans la soirée/ nuit. J'ai été contraint de remonter le disjoncteur à chaque fois ... Et nos téléphones n'ont pas pu se recharger pour la journée suivante ! Même pas de café, ou de lait : rien ! Clairement un immeuble pour la rentabilité du propriétaire et rien d'autre !
