Wah Resort Gili Trawangan

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here and it’s just gorgeous! The staff are amazing, the rooms are so clean and the bathrooms are HUGE! Turtles swim by every day! Love the viewing platform which was perfect for watching the sunrise and catching sight of the turtles heads popping up.

The mattress is a little hard but fine

It’s a good distance from all the noise of Gilli T and it is where the turtles are. We love the Wah.

Property is getting worn. Just needs a little maintenance and love.

The hotel, location, staff and everything was totally awesome. I highly recommend this property.

The location is perfect. Right on the beach. Close to all the restaurants and facilities. Yet far enough away from the nightlife to not be disturbed by the noise. Nice, large bathroom and good sized room.

The pool was out of operation for our visit and that was one of the main reasons we booked this venue. There was no prior communication of this as we only found out whilst booking in to the resort. The is ofcourse after we took a ferry to the island. The pool was empty and had green water at the bottom which was quite an eyesore especially being the 1st thing you see when you open your door. The next 2 days there were people working on the pool breaking tiles. As tbis was one of our stops during our Honeymoon we were very disappointed to say the least. The response from the resort was also meager to put it politely. Please make sure to phone them before booking as it was clear the pool was out of order for quite some time and they never bothered to inform us.

Gave us the option to upgrade our room.

Unfortunately the pool wasn’t working, but we could use next doors

Won’t stay there again - pool was green and no swim up bar and the beds felt like concrete. The soap in the bathrooms was crap too . No fridge and no water in rooms - staff Left dirty cups and plates on my balcony for days .. never agin - they need to get rid of photos online as they are absolutely nothing like in website - the lady at reception was rude and the guy was good but had no say as he wasn’t the manager .. I feel like he’s too good for this property . No Discount given for the green slimy pool switcher they lied and said it would be ‘fixed tomorrow’ - we stayed 5 days - a lie .. I paid in full at arrival and the lady was rude and didn’t get any money back at all . If it wasn’t for the beach across the road I would have left.
