Guest suite in Checkendon

Lovely self contained suite suitable for 3 Adults.

Absolutely beautiful location and the suite has everything you might need for a stay, plus it’s super comfortable and the owners were an absolute delight. Definitely take the recommendation to pop to Imma Bakery in Stoke Row and we can vouch for The Crooked Billet pub too. Couldn’t ask for more and will absolutely return when the chance arises!

Lovely barn conversion which has been really sympathetically carried out to a very high standard. Light and airy, surrounded by countryside. Comfortable (queen size?) bed, a brilliant shower with a pleasant living/dining room. Plenty of parking but walkable to the village and good pubs. Ok, the cooking facilities are limited- two rings on the hob but there's a toaster and I did spot an airfryer too. The hosts had left tea, coffee pods, jam, condiments and milk which was all very welcome. The hosts' pictures are a good representation of this lovely place. Highly recommended.

Nothing drastic apart from the cleaners asking us when we were leaving and hovering outside until we left.

This property was absolutely exceptional. Helen and Tim have a true gem here and anyone who books will not be disappointed. The guest suite is a perfect size for 2 people with lovely furnishings and high quality fittings. The views are beautiful and it was a lovely peaceful stay. It has everything you need for a short stay including cooking essentials like oil/salt/pepper and even lovely touches like milk, jam, coffee and tea. We were even left a birthday treat and card which was extra thoughtful. Overall this stay was perfect, we look forward to booking again!

Wonderful position and beautifully renovated suite. Great views across the countryside. So much to see and do in the area. The information booklet was really good.

Stairs were a challenge - quite steep as the suite is on floor above garage. Could do with a sign at the entrance to the property which would make it easier to find.

It was well designed and exactly what we needed.We were very comfortable there

No complaints at all.
