MCH Marina Charming House - Elegant Stay in Cagliari

The property was beautifully renovated with stunning details , such as the exposed brickwork and decorative floor tiling. It was spacious, simple but stylish. The hostsRita and Riccardo made me feel very welcome with wine, local sweets and fruit when I arrived , tired from my journey. Any information about the area I asked for was provided . Stairs in the bedroom led to a private terrace which was a real bonus. Despite being minutes away from a busy shopping area, the property was very peaceful and close to the beautiful old city walls and buildings. On my departure I was given some local honey to take home.

This is quite simply an outstanding property. Rita and Giovanni are the nicest,most professional and lovely hosts you will ever meet. The apartment is beautifully restored: every detail has been carefully considered to render a contemporary luxury space but with a strong connection to the architecture and history of the original building. Would recommend this property 100% and if you are fortunate enough to secure a booking ,you will be guaranteed wonderful stay in the great city of Cagliari.

Everything was wonderful -no negatives

The apartment was very elegant, very spacious and very comfortable to spend time in. The owner was very welcoming and very helpful. The location was convenient, it was an easy walk from the paid car park building and it was a short walk to the streets where you find restaurants and bars. I liked the fluffy luxurious towels and the nice furniture.

There was hardly anything we didn’t like about the property. Cagliari is a very lively city. People enjoyed staying very late into the night along the street of the property, which we could hear at times. It wasn’t a big deal.

Beautifully renovated new clean apartment, I was almost afraid to use the kitchen. Perfect location to go to restaurants, cafes and sightseeing and also great access to buses to go to beaches and train to go to the airport. We went to cute tiny beach Calamosca by 2 buses. Hosts are friendly and easy to communicate, they were kindly keep our luggage in the building till our evening flight. It’s a great accommodation like a hotel for short stay in Cagliari.

Almost perfect apartment, but we would like to point out two things. No international TV channels, my husband wanted to follow news and Euro 2024 football, only Italian channels were available. Another thing is damage deposit of €300 cash which was no problem to got money back for us. It was my fault I didn’t read important thing when I booked the apartment so I got little surprise.

Beautiful apartment, elegantly furnished and well-appointed. Nice touches like chocolates by the bed and fresh fruit were appreciated. Central but quiet location, near many cafes and restaurants.

Pictures should clarify - there are 2 apartments, and only 1 has outside space. The one facing the street does not have outside space, only French doors opening onto Juliet balconies. If you book through a booking platform, you will need to pay a cash deposit at check-in; we got ours back with no problems, but it's not ideal, especially if you are leaving the Euro area soon after - you will have surplus Euros to convert.

Beautiful, newly completely renovated apartment, with a lot of style and attention for details. Very nice roof terrace, where you can sit privately and enjoy the sun. A very good location in the city, very central in a pedestrian area with restaurants, shops and terraces around the corner. Rita is a lovely host, with useful suggestions for specific things to see and enjoy. We had a great time in Cagliari.
