Gullwing Beach Front Resort

Heerlijk groot appartement aan het strand! Strand is bijna verlaten omdat er nog heel veel in aanbouw is na de orkaan. Er zijn allerlei strandspullen welke je mag gebruiken.

De afwerking is hier en daar een beetje suffig voor het geld wat je ervoor betaald.

There were stains on some of the bedding and found some garbage left on the floor in the twin bedroom. stucco workers outside dropping stucco on me at the pool.

TV's in the first 2 bedrooms didn't work, they were direct tv setups, searching for satellite signal was the message

I like that it was right on the beach and that it was spacious, kitchen was comfortable. They provided an espresso machine which I truly appreciated. However,…..that being said

Service was poor and not helpful. They gave me a hard time. This is no luxury hotel or resort at all. I didn’t like that there was a horrible blue net blocking part of the view from the balcony and master bedroom. The picture on listing is deceiving, it doesn’t show how it really looks. It was a real turn off. Some areas and pieces of furniture were dirty like the desk and parts of kitchen counter. Also, the balcony was really dirty, both floor and furniture. There were ants and bugs. We couldn’t use it. Table and seats in the balcony were rusted at the bottom. Not quality or luxury. Windows on the outside were disgusting dirty. Sliding door was also dirty. The gym was closed. Ice maker in fridge not working. The blinds on room with queen bed didn’t work didn’t close completely and they don’t have blackouts on the bedrooms only blinds that still let the sunlight in, so if you want to sleep in or take a nap you can’t. Also the master bedroom needs a blackout curtains on the door. Now, let’s talk about luxury and quality. When I see luxury, as they list it, I expect quality. They list it as Luxury Beach Front resort, but what I found was low quality instead in many things. Sofas were uncomfortable, nothing luxury there. I just couldn’t believe the sheets they provided. Sheets that were pilled and cheap polyester microfiber quality. Absolutely unacceptable!! I asked for a replacement with cotton sheets and they gave me another set in the exact same conditions, cheap sheets that were pilled. The lady with an attitude said “that’s all they have”. It was very uncomfortable to sleep on those sheets. It was very frustrating. The queen bed didn’t have a fitted sheet; they used a flat sheet instead which at first night came off making it hard to move and sleep well. So frustrating. The kitchen cookware was very low cheap quality and it as lacking important pieces like a pancake square pan and pots.

Only four beach towels for six people. Garbage disposal never worked. Housekeeping regarding dusting and film on big tv.
