The staff were very needs-based. I fell asleep at my work desk and fell off the chair, collided with the table on which the breakfast china was placed. My fall broke the table a glass jar and two cups. Despite the damage the staff's only concern was my wellbeing. They cleaned away the damage and meticulously scoured the carpet for any tiny shards. Should have been warned about very steep stairs to first floor. They would pose a safety risk to guests with compromised balance.

Property is absolutely filthy. Stained bedding with hairs and pubic hairs. A broken wardrobe with hinges sticking out and dirty clothes inside. Whole place had a terrible odour. All facilities listed are communal and are in cluttered dirty spaces. Awful!

This is an economical and good-value place for an overnight stay that is very close to the railway station. Rooms are clean, secure and warm; and there is a shared lounge with TV and facilities.
