Kattala Bed and Breakfast

I absolutely loved that the staff were attentive to detail and the efficient service towards us. The transport systems to get to El Nido or even to Puerto Princesa directly from Kattala make it more accessible. Just a bit far out, so do budget your holiday days to include at most two days of traveling to and from the B&B. There is island hopping and other sports, but if you want a big-time vibe and down to a fun holiday, it might be a little too secluded/peaceful for you.

Beautiful new room with air and nice shower

Not super private, the street was in front of the ocean view so we had to keep our shades drawn. Great bed and pillows. It is owned by the other resort in the area, a 5 minute walk away.

Due to construction work on site we have been moved to Ursula Resort which is "sister company". The staff was great, food realy tasty. If you are looking for quite place this is it. It is more remote beach , you can book diving or extra activity at the hotel bit not much other entertaiment around .

This was a unique experience as the place is next to the beach and you may have the feeling that you are leaving next to the sea! The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and kind. Everything was clean and stylish. The place is perfect for kite, snorkelling, diving or just enjoying in peace the natural! Strongly recommended!

It was very clean and pretty new. It is still under construction but while we where there they did not construct so we where not bothered by it at all. The bed was very comfortable and the terrace is cozy and nice.

The Aircon did not function properly. Saying that we talked to the management and they transferred us to another room!!!

This place is an absolute haven. The exterior and interior design are stunning, and the beach right in front of your room is clean and well-maintained. There's a neat and modern bar/restaurant by the sea. The beach has comfortable sun loungers and dining tables. In the evening, this place transforms into an amazingly decorated relaxation spot with lights, swings, and dining tables by the water, with the option of high tide touching your feet. 😊 The service and the people working at the hotel deserve special mention. The level of care is outstanding. Everyone is friendly, helpful, and kind. The service level is comparable to that of a high-end fine dining restaurant, which is very surprising to see on a remote island. There is always someone available to answer your questions or resolve any request. The kitchen at the restaurant is excellent; the chef is a true master of his trade. We enjoyed every dining course throughout our stay. I must say, I never ate so much rice in my life, but I kinda started enjoying it 😁. The evening atmosphere is relaxing and soothing, with the sound of the sea on one side and instrumental music playing on the other side (not live, but nice), creating the perfect environment for relaxation and unwinding from a sunny hot day, surfing, kayaking, island hopping, or any other activities you choose to do, which there are plenty. There is a gym corner available and massage, manicure, and pedicure services on demand. Be ready to adjust your expectations for the remote island. Not all food is always available on the menu, and there is no power grid. The resort runs on solar panels, batteries, and a backup generator, so sometimes there are disruptions in the power supply. We had a minor room description discrepancy, and the situation was professionally and positively handled by the resort manager. We enjoyed every minute of our stay here, and on our last day, we were already missing the beauty of this place.
