Bumblebee Cottage nestled in stunning countryside.

The location was perfect. Beautifully rural but within easy distance of industrial history sites we wanted to see. Lovely to have a log burner. Great views from the kitchen window. Cosy, comfortable and well equipped.

The only minor criticism would be about the fleece bedding. Both of use would have much preferred cotton duvet and pillow slips.

It was cosy and comfortable.

Cottage was cosy and comfortable in a lovely area. Very quiet, easy to check into. Lovely little garden to seat out in with a great view. Log burner which was fab. Heaters in every room if needed. All clean and tidy.

Bed was too hard for us but personal preference can’t satisfy everyone. WiFi not great in the evening with TV. Could have done with some oven gloves and a couple more utensils in the kitchen such as a pizza cutter.

Had a lovely weekend at Bumblebee Cottage with the dogs, very quiet and peaceful location. The Pendle Inn is within walking distance and is dog friendly. While here we visited Barrowford, Skipton, Clitheroe and Settle all were within an hours drive away. We would definitely look to return here in the future, our Host was very friendly and on hand if needed.

Lovely location, very quite. The area is beautiful and lots to see and do. I just wish the property had a dvd player rather than just relying on streaming. But I guess that is due to my age. The cottage is lovely and welcoming.

Missed a dvd player

The location, the history & folklore of the area, the cosiness, very high standard finish & home from home feeling of the beautiful property. We were so comfortable, happy & content. The log burner is brilliant & adds real charm. All round wonderful stay in a stunning property in a fantastic location. Pendle Hill & the sculpture trail are lovely. Also lots of pretty walks nearby.
