Dar Khairoun with Balcony

Dar Khairoun is an outstanding apartment, though definitely not luxurious. First, it was a great value (30€/night for 2, Thu/Fri, early April). The main bedroom and attached narrow terrace have an expansive view across the valley and the sun sets over the mountains. A second bedroom is also provided. The kitchen is functional with a 4-burner stove top but no oven. Our apartment was one flight up. Street parking is easy. Unusual for Morocco, the apartment has plentiful electrical receptacles. We encountered a few curable glitches, which the very hospitable, English speaking owner worked quickly to remedy. Then, his sweet mom (with whom we had no common language), apparently by way of apology, brought us an unsolicited, home cooked dinner. Amazing Moroccan hospitality!

There was not enough equipment for a stay with 3 persons in an apartment where you should be able to cook.

Nice hoses deserve to be famous
