Storms River Forest Lodge

prettige lodge, heel mooi gelegen in een tuin, waar je steeds vogels hoort. Prima gastvrije ontvangst. De familiekamer was ruim, bedden goed, eigen badkamer.Je kunt er zelf koken en een ontbijt maken, dat is fijn. Je kunt ook gebruik maken van het ontbijt dat ze serveren. Goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding, veilig en rustig. Wat erg leuk was, is dat savonds voor ons de houtkachel werd aangemaakt, in een super gezellige huiskamer, lekker lezen en hangen op de bank en tot rust komen. de kamers zijn wel wat gedateerd, maar wij vonden dat geen probleem en waardeerden de gezeliige, huiselijke sfeer.

Amazing place!!! Go there 🧡 Truly in the nature, the owners are extremely nice and helpful, the kitchen outside and inside, very clean, the supermarket is super close. It’s heaven to just chill and forget about daily life challenges ✨ The birds sound morning guarantee. :) Highly recommend!

Everything is great :)

We stayed in a normal camping-style tent on a raised wooden platform, and it felt so private, peaceful, and completely different from anything I usually do. The property is beautiful. There are little corners everywhere — tables for tea or lunch, a boma area, a book nook, a bar, and spaces to just hang out. We played darts, pool, cards, watched TV, wrapped ourselves in cozy blankets at night, and Luca the dog even curled up by our feet. Michelle was really warm and welcoming, showed us around, and you can see how much love she’s put into the space. Bathrooms were spotless, the bed was super comfy with an electric blanket, and breakfast had all the things you could want. It was fun, cozy, and such a unique experience.

The property was very central to all things in Storms River. Beautiful greenery & bird life. Great kitchen & Braai area with beautiful surroundings.

It’s more of a backpackers stay with rooms & tents with shared toiletries. Thankfully we had our own bathroom.
