Nice location - quiet on a hilltop with great sunset views. Clean and comfortable layout for a couple.

Didn’t realize that there are so many wild chickens - definitely need air plugs at night.

The property is tucked pretty high in the hills. You have to take the car wherever you go. It was a little dated with lots of people that seemed to be living on the property.

The location is perfection for all of our day trips to north shore beaches! The place is cute and was easy to find. We loved having the beach towels, boogie boards and beach chairs available, and they really enhanced our stay. The tropical foliage and plants on the property were gorgeous and was my personal favorite part of the property. The space was the perfect size for a couple. The owner was friendly and available if we found ourselves in need of asking her for any information. She even freely offered up some great ideas for places to visit at sunset for an amazing experience. She was also very responsive with texting, which definitely kept our confidence high throughout the process.

It has every ability to be a dream 10/10 location, but it just needs some TLC with the details to feel like a luxury stay. The knobs for the shower handles were chipped and can easily be replaced. There were some areas on the kitchen walls where the paint and veneer wood was chipped/rubbed off extensively, and overall it just needs a handyman to go in there and patch/fix some stuff up. Some walkway lights would make it easier to navigate to the door for those after-sunset returns as the path is made of large uneven stone tiles. The bed is on the soft side and sinks slightly in the middle, but it didn’t seem to bother my very sensitive back and we had good nights of sleep despite preferring a firm bed. The roosters didn’t even wake us up with their early morning calls if we had the fan going. We still very, very much enjoyed our stay, but these updates would have enhanced the experience. All of these items were very minor and didn’t deter from our wonderful stay!
