Taormina Palazzo di Ferro

We reserved this apartment that is shown in the photos for three nights. 2 bed/ 2 ba , balcony , sea view , fp..We were so excited for this trip to Sicily!!We arrived and were placed in a completely different apartment! 1 bed/ 1 ba no balcony, no fp. I was devastated!! I was not happy. The property manager contacted Booking.com to get this reservation cancelled and we were asked to vacate immediately. WE then had no where to go on Thursday night in Taormina. We were refunded, BUT we now know that Booking.com should have provided us with an accommodation equivalent to the apartment we had reserved. I have called many times and have gotten no where. I’ve been hung up “ disconnected”’on several occasions. I tried reaching corporate office- my only recourse was to leave this review which the last customer service rep suggested. Being a genius level three I’m so upset as Inhave used Booking.com for years- I have no faith in them after this debacle.

The apartment was light, airy and charming. The view over the rooftops, up to the Greek theatre and out to the water was lovely. We did not do any cooking but the kitchen seemed to have all you would need. Location was right in the centre of the main pedestrian walk….very convenient and easy to walk with cases. Francesca was readily available, helpful and friendly.

There are many steps up to the apartment…the cost of enjoying the view. Because you are right in the centre of the action there was a Lot of noise on Saturday night. Other nights were ok.

Excellent, central location but still quiet at night. Spacious apartment with a lovely terrace and view eastwards. Francesca, who manages the property, was excellent and replied promptly to any questions. Our Etna tour with Davide from Etna Tours was fantastic!

The shower takes a while to warm up and does then have a habit of going cold after 4-5 mins but wait a while and it comes hot again. A few extra glasses and a sieve in the kitchen would be helpful.

We could not be more central than this apartment on Corso Umberto. The apartment was spacious and traditionally furnished. The bed was very comfortable. A few kitchen essentials were supplied. The host was amazing – our fridge broke down and they had it replaced within a few hours. What service!

As others have mentioned it is up three flights of stairs. The water pressure and temperature in the shower was unreliable.

The location was just perfect for us. Right in the centre, with easy access to all shops, cafes & restaurants. An easy walk to the bus station and the Teatro Antico.

More outside space, though recognise this is tricky in the centre. We used the beautiful giardano communale to relax in, which were again only a short walk away.

위치가 매우 좋고, 머무는데 필요한 것들이 모두 갖추어져 있으며 무엇보다 테라스 뷰가 매우 좋음. 위치와 뷰 만으로도 충분히 뛰어난 숙소임.

와이파이 속도가 조금 느리고, 침실 방음이 그리 좋은 편은 아니며 샤워기 수압이 약함.
