Apartment is newly renovated. Excellent view down on Verbania. Very well equipped. Nice bathroom

As I was supposed to work in the morning, I needed fast, reliable internet connection. Which was not always the case.

It is very clean and the balcony is a good size.

I'm sure this little loft studio is fine in cooler weather but in the temperatures we experienced at the end of July, it was impossible to stay there. When we walked in to the loft we immediately said to the owner that it was like being in a sauna and we were worried about being able to sleep there. He assured us it would be fine if it was aired. So we opened every window and door but there was little to no breeze and the one floor standing fan was only moving the hot air around. Later that night with the heat in the rooms not dropping below 34 degrees and the noise of the passing traffic (because all the doors were open) we had to go and book into a hotel with Aircon. We tried the next day to air and cool the loft but it was impossible so we contacted the owner to tell him it was just not possible to stay there. At that point he admitted he was looking to get Aircon fitted the following week! In the meantime he offered us another fan which again would have been next to useless. The problem is that the apartment is truly a loft, ie it is open to the baking hot roof tiles, so it is like being in an oven. As we didn't spend a single night there and incurred an extra €600 in hotel expenses, we asked the owner if he would consider even a part refund but we have received no response.
