John was a fantastic host. Met us to hand over the keys and show us the property. Recommended a good restaurant nearby. Apartment is very comfortable and close to the port and the old town.

There are actually 2 apartments, one with the view of the ocean and the other one which is a quirky 2 room full of antiques and memorabilia. This looks out on the street and is up some rather narrow stairs . John was a helpful host prompt and easy to communicate with .

The bathroom tap drips constantly and washing machine didn’t work. Be aware of which apartment you book as most of the photos show the top floor one

The location and views from the apartment are second to none. This is a cool part of town and a short walk into the old city. The terrace is the best thing about the apartment. It’s large and spacious but still private with lovely views. The apartment is on the top floor. There is an elevator to help with your luggage. The host John is a very kind man, very attentive and will do all he can to make you welcome and comfortable. He carried my suitcase up the stairs to the apartment and took time to ensure I knew where everything’s was and how it worked. I arrived in Trapani earlier than planned, and John was flexible and helpful allowing me to check in earlier than planned- no problem. This apartment is not a hotel. It’s comfortable and feels very much like staying in the home of a Sicilian friend, and remains styled in an old authentic way- it beats a sterile modern apartment every time. The bed is very comfortable and the aircon works well.

I can’t think of anything you can change! You can park behind the apartment opposite the sea at a small charge using the easy parking app (€10 for 24h) or you can park at the edge of the town (2mins walk) for free. John will show you where.

Very good location, excellent views from apartment and a massive terrace with views over the Mediterranean and the city. Thanks to John, the host, who was very friendly and helpful. We will be back next year😎
