Grand Palace Hotel Lusaka

The location is great, close to the mall and the conference Centre. The place is clean with friendly staff. The linen is clean and the bed is comfortable,

The shower cubicle is very small. There is no pressing Iron in the room. If you want to straighten a shirt, you have to scramble for one Pressing iron and the board. The workers came asking for it very early in the morning and disturbed my sleep. The workers make noise in the corridors early in the morning thereby disturbing clients who may still want to sleep. some one came to knock on my room violently at 04:30 am in the morning, when i asked for their identity they left. It was rather scary and i felt unsafe. Some people hang around drinking alcohol outside the reception area, making the hotel look like a cheap bar. Better confine them to a specific area.

Location close to malls

Shower was broken , they moved me to 4 different other rooms, old block, with the same problem. And sadly the reception guy was not even sincere. He even suggested I bath in another room in another building and sleep in the other room. I had to beg them to fix my shower so that i can sleep and shower in my own room.

Location and Gym

Staff not being friendly, no flexibility on checking out as I had to be pulled out of my room and finish my business call in the noisy lobby.

The distance is close by to major important points such as malls and convention centres

The room is quite dull and not well decorated.

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of East Park Shopping Mall, making it easy to access shops, restaurants, and other amenities nearby.

We arrived at the hotel well past the official check-in time and later than the estimated arrival time we had provided. Despite this, our room was still not ready upon arrival, which was disappointing and unexpected. In addition, the breakfast offerings were quite limited, with only a few basic options available. We expected a wider and more diverse selection to cater to different tastes and dietary needs.
