Grand Palace Hotel Lusaka

Honestly speaking there' s nothing to like about this hotel

This was the worst 3 nights experience ever, first & foremost the room was stuffy, the phone extension wasn't working, the air con kept dripping water nonstop, the bar fridge was dirty inside, the safe wasnt working, our bedding was not changed, even after making numerous complaints about the safe not working, NOTHING was done. Generally the hotel should not be a 4 star at all

The overall experience was fantastic. The visual appeal of the Grand Palace Hotel grabs your attention and doesn't disappoint once inside either. Luxurious, comfortable and conveniently situated. The rooms are large and welcoming with quality finishes. The breakfast was decent enough, but I did not like that there was no yogurt, and there was a very small variety of fruit. Good value for money I would say.

The only thing at the Grand Palace Hotel that is NOT grand .... is the shower. When considering the size of the room, and the size of the bathroom - the shower is a massive disappointment. It is quite literally the smallest shower I have ever had to shower in. The hot water - which only got warm - only lasted a minute or two, the balance of my shower was with cold water. Considering the grandeur of the hotel, it is disappointing that there was no good coffee machine - but only instant coffee available.

the location is ver good, restaurant, food, all is good.

The stuff was ok kudos to emelda she always makes you want to come again and see her smile Thabo a great host as well general the stuff is welcoming and very helpful when u need anything

We moved 2 rooms but the sewage smell was heavy in both rooms and the water is just luke warm

The location was excellent an the staff were very attentive and helpful.

The swimming pool was not great but the gym was excellent.
