GBFirstly, instructions when entering the property is well detailed. . flat is spotless clean, kitchen utensils and appliances is also available.
The communal hallway is a bit dirty, Main door from ground floor is broken.
GRThe apartment is in the city centre so very convenient and there is pay and display parking on the street. There is a kitchen and a washing machine. There is a supermarket nearby. Good communication with the host.
The cleanliness could be improved. No TV channels. The stairs, but we knew that.

GBThe flat is right in the centre of Falkirk, across the street from the bus stops, along the street from the train station and all the shops, Falkirk itself is a quiet town in the middle of Scotland, great location for exploring the rest of Scotland and is a cheaper place to live than city like Edinburgh yet has a lot to do locally. The price was comparable to some smaller hotels around and yet gives you the freedom that living in a hotel does not all the shops for self catering are also a 1 minute walk from the flat. My daughter has just said that even though they stayed over their bank holiday weekend, they couldn't hear any of the noise from the town outside, which includes takes aways, pubs and other things you would expect to find in a town centre there are extra glass covers over the front of the windows which mute outside.
The only downside, which was minor for us but may not be for others to the flat is that it's the very top floor of the building, There are 3 floors, which means six sets of old stairs to climb and the banister on the entry level stair case from the street isn't secured to the wall anymore (Seems the plaster has worn where the banister sits in the wall), so they got a small fright at first climb as the banister moves, wasn't that much of an issue for my daughter as she's young enough to climb the stairs etc yet had we rented for my mother, she wouldn't have been able to get up and down those at her age of 70+ this info is something I couldn't see on the advert, it may be there and I've missed it. Just something to note if you're not good with stairs. Though it was a really minor thing for us and was the only minor point in a list of positives
