Hacienda San Pedro Nohpat

Amazing place! Awesome breakfast - best omelette we had in 4 weeks in Mexico + really good coffee + home made delicious marmelade Big nice clean swimming pool Beautiful garden + fish + nice cat to cuddle Best accommodation we had in our whole Mexico trip! The owners and staff very nice and friendly.

This is a wonderful property. A former hacienda with beautiful grounds and totally updated rooms. The owner is intimately involved in all parts of the operation and is happy to do extra to make your stay better(I have never been asked before if I wanted the owner to come in and let out my dog to go potty if we're gone for hours). I especially liked that electric outlets were plentiful and there were no telephones in the room. Breakfast was exceptional with the owners 'adopted' daughter making whatever you wanted. Comfy bed, jacuzzi tub, great water pressure, quality towels, I loved it.

This is a lovely hotel located very close to the new Tren Maya station at Teya. Full breakfast is included and if you let them know in advance, the hosts will cook you a lovely dinner. They also dropped us off at the train station the next morning, so that was a real bonus!

We spent 6 days at Hacienda San Pedro Nohpat with my wife and three kids (10,7,4). The place is beatufiul, the location is perfect to reach almost everything (Chichen Itzá, Uxmal, Celestún, etc.) The Hacienda itself had a great pool which was a blessing in that heat, especially for the kids. The manager Iona was really helpful, she gave us some perfect recommendations and ideas, what to check out. She even prepared for us a cool kit in the morning, I thougth that was especially thoughtful of her. The maids working at the hacienda were also very nice and helpful. We would happily recommend Hacienda San Pedro Nohpat to basically anyone.

All accommodations are suites, and our suite of rooms was huge, furnished with antiques, overlooking gardens. It was a good value. The bathroom and shower were exceptionally nice. The grounds are pretty, and the breakfast was made to order, ample, and delicious. It is sometimes possible to get a nice dinner here if arranged ahead, for a fair price. Adequate cooling system. Plenty of parking. Friendly hosts. Netflix. You can even bring a pet.

This place is a 10 in so many ways, but there were TWO IMPORTANT CONDITIONS that potential guests should know about: this historic Hacienda is out of Merida to the east in a relatively poor village. There is one nice restaurant (you must drive) some little distance away, and there are convenience stores out on the highway, but this is definitely not an area catering to tourists. We took a taxi in to the Grand Plaza. The other problem is the pervasive musty, moldy smell in the lovely old rooms amidst the old antique furniture. Weeks later my suitcases, handbag, jacket (anything not machine washable) still smell strongly of it. If you are sensitive to mold or mildew you will have a problem here.

We really enjoyed our short stay at this beautiful former hacienda. The grounds are impeccably maintained and rooms are large, appointed with unique and lovely antique furniture. Breakfast was amazing! Owner was very gracious and hospitable. Would have liked the stay a bit longer to relax by the pool and garden.

The property was hard to find, would be great to include in the confirmation directions to entrance which is different from address given, and for parking. No restaurants very close by, but not a problem if you have a car. The location served our needs, as we were just passing and wanted something close to the highway.
