The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The place is well maintained, quirky and as depicted on the pictures. Location was excellent - close to main attractions, yet a little removed from the backpacker madness of the city.

This is a small property where the customer is important. Oliver is in an excellent host and with his staff you have the warmest and most pleasurable stay. We were here to unwind and relax and the setting and location was perfect. Our little home had everything we needed. The set up is beautifully done with private areas for you to relax on your own or by the poolside and meet other guests. The staff will help if you wish to do any of the many activities that the area provides. The breakfasts were freshly made and a great start to your day. We enjoyed an evening meal as well and it was a lovely setting to relax. The accommodation is extremely clean and well looked after.

As with the majority of Laos dust is ever present .. but this didn’t upset our stay

Avoid at All Costs – Dishonest, Unethical, and Unbearable Stay! I deeply regret booking this place.I paid around USD 200 for 2 nights, expecting a decent experience,but instead,I endured one of the worst hotel stays ever.The misleading ratings (which I later discovered were mostly from the owner's friends) fooled me into thinking this was a reliable place. 1. Cash-Only Scam & ATM Nightmare As a woman traveling alone with 2 small kids, I was in contact with the manager and owner days before arriving. At no stage did they mention they only accept cash—a crucial detail that would have impacted my decision to stay. The hotel is far from the city center with no ATMs nearby. When I politely requested to pay via bank transfer, the owner refused outright, knowing full well that:1] ATMs in the area often don’t work.2] There’s a low withdrawal limit, forcing guests to withdraw money multiple times. 3] Some ATMs swallow cards if used too frequently. Instead, the owner forced me to rent a motorbike from him and take my two young children on a frustrating ATM hunt. I had to visit over 9 ATMs in two days just to get the required amount. All of this just so the owner, Oliver, can evade taxes and collect under-the-table income. Disgusting. 2. Tax Fraud & Fake Invoicing When I booked on Booking.com, they charged tax, which implies they should issue a proper tax invoice. when I asked for one, they refused and instead handed me a handwritten paper as an excuse for a receipt (see image). This is clear evidence of tax evasion and fraudulent business practices. 3. False Advertising,Poor Conditions I booked this place to make my kids happy with a tent stay, but it turned into a nightmare: ❌No air-conditioning – the tents became unbearably hot,unlivable.❌Filthy bed sheets. See images below.❌Tiny pool ❌Non-existent restaurant 4. I asked them to help book train tickets & specifically inquired about the price before confirming.

Olivier, Kammon and the rest of the team were really nice and helpful. There was a nice view of the hot air balloons departing every afternoon for sunset. Breakfast was simple but nice.

The noise and dust coming from all the tuktuks and scooters heading to the Blue Lagoons since early morning was a bit unpleasant. And in the afternoons the tent can get a bit hot, but we were told that more trees were going to be planted around the domes to counter this effect.

Everything! We loved our stay here, would have stayed extra nights if we could. The staff was super pleasant and helpful, they have two adorable kittens on site that we got to spend some time with. Breakfast was simple but good. The property is adorable- with stunning views- and the rooms have everything you need; the nights were chilly during our visit but we were very comfortable in our room. We enjoyed sitting outside, looking at the stars and getting some kitten cuddles at night before heading to bed. The town is walking distance and there are plenty of restaurants along the way if you don’t want to make the walk into town. Plenty of motorbike & buggy rentals nearby as well. We hope to visit again!

We had a great stay at Sabai Glamping. The rooms are cosy and comfortable, with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. The staff are very thoughtful, especially the manager who helped us book transport on several occasions. She also led us on a great kayaking trip along a very picturesque stretch of the river. We would definitely return and would recommend Sabai Glamping to anyone visiting Vang Vieng.

The charm of this place is that it is on the opposite side of the river to the main backpacker part of town, but loud music was still played from the bar in the evenings. It took away a little from the peaceful atmosphere, which really is the appeal of this place. This is just a minor issue though and could be easily addressed.

I like the location ( next to the center , and far enough to be in a quiet place ) ; the concept is fantastic , and new , it’s very clean , charming . Breakfast was very yummy too . I loved the swimming pool , with the Mountain View . Really a place to discover ! Thanks to all the team for great service !

Good value for this new resort, the pool is nice and the dome too. The view is amazing in front of the mountain. have to stay for sur.

The resort is nice, the pool is clean, the breakfast is good. It's a new construction so very good we hope to come back again for another stay.
