We chose this alternative because as a family (2+2) we wanted to try a traditional Swedish house instead of a classic hotel or hostel. In the end, our choice turned out to be strategically excellent. We rented a car at the airport Skavsta (85 km from house) and were able to visit also other locations than just Stockholm (e.g. Drottningholm, Mariefred, Vasteras, Eskilstuna, Orebro). The accommodation is nicely furnished, clean, with a sufficiently equipped kitchen. In the kitchen, you also have ground coffee, tea and other small things that can be useful when preparing breakfast. The host provided us with information about the arrival in advance, everything went completely smoothly. We also liked that bed linen and towels were included in the price, which is not common in Swedish houses that are rented out by accommodation companies and you have to pay for them separately. We highly recommend this accommodation to families. Due to the cold and rainy weather, we didn't use the yard, grill or sauna, but everything is there...

There were a few details that could be improved (as mentioned by guests in some other reviews), but I forgot about them when I thought about the price of the accommodation... In addition, if you are on a several days trip and want to see as many attractions as possible, you only use the accommodation for sleeping.

The apartment is ok for a family of four people. The host has been very helpful and responsive. The garden shared with the host's home is an advantage as well as the sauna, which is cozy and pleasant.

The apartment could be better furnished of what is needed for cooking during a short stay (e.g. olive oil). For a longer stay, the two camp beds could not be as comfortable as a sofà bed. The mattresses of the bedroom bends too much. For enjoying the TV you need a hdmi compatibile device (es. notebook).
