Summer Cottage in Kinsale Free Car Parking Included

The home and the room we stayed in were very nice, and the location was excellent--on a quiet street within walking distance from the Kinsale town center (about 10-15 min.). The room was cute, the beds were comfortable, and there was good storage for clothing, etc. Our host, Cara, was very friendly and welcoming, and quick to respond to any messages we sent. We stayed two nights, and after the first one, Cara made sure to come by while we were out, to provide fresh towels and neaten up the room. We appreciated the tea/coffee tray with hot pot and mugs. It was great to have a dedicated parking spot as well.

It felt a little cramped for the two of us with our suitcases, but that's not the room's fault! We were in Ireland for 10 days and had a lot of stuff. ;-) Also, we're Americans, so we're used to having a top sheet on our bed (though we soon realized that it's the norm to have only a bottom sheet in Ireland, at least in all the lodgings we stayed at--so this really isn't a complaint!).

Kinsale is a really pretty town and we enjoyed walking around the harbour and town.

Communication from host was friendly & everything we needed. Adequate for one night, bathroom was a very good size.

Bedroom size extremely small for a double. For 2 people very limited space to put anything. Only one bedside table. No where to make a cuppa, tea making facilities were in bottom of wardrobe. Sound from other rooms carried a lot.
