Unfortunately, my stay at Sand Palace Camp in the desert was disappointing. While the location is beautiful, the overall experience did not meet expectations. First, the camel ride to the camp was rushed and uncomfortable, with the camels not well cared for. Once we arrived, the camp was overcrowded and lacked the peaceful, serene atmosphere I had hoped for. The tents were far from comfortable—poorly maintained, with little privacy, and the bedding was inadequate. The food was underwhelming, with limited options, and the meals lacked flavor. The staff, although polite, seemed disorganized and unhelpful. In particular, the promised "luxury" experience felt more like a basic setup, with no real attention to guest comfort or details. The desert stargazing experience was overshadowed by noise from other groups, and there was little effort to provide an authentic cultural experience. All in all, it was a disappointing experience, and I would not recommend Sand Palace Camp to anyone looking for a peaceful, high-quality desert stay.
