Good location, not far to drive to the start of the balcony walk. The host was very pleasant. The exterior of the rooms is nicer than the rooms themselves, they are just a bit dirty, mat, curtains, bathroom, could all do with a deep clean. There is heating and ac so you can stay comfortable. The bbq outside is a nice idea but as we were there for only 1 night we didn't use it. Be mindful of the fact there are only a couple of restaurants you can drive to in the area (well you are up in the mountains after all). There is a small shop just a few minutes walk from the hotel. I think this place is suitable for a 1 night stay.

The room looked ok

There was nowhere to get food nearby and the property only takes cash. We didn’t have cash and the closest cash machine was a 1.5 hr drive, so we had to leave and find alternative accommodation and somewhere to have an evening meal

Really close to the balcony walk (10minutes by car). Possibility for arrange a self-Made barbecue. Is possible to dinner at the resort reachable in 2 minutes by car

Lack of wi-fi

There is everything you need. A store and the view points are close by. Very quiet and private accomondation.

No breakfast avaliable and no dining options. But there is a resort on the top (5min driving) that serves breakfast and dinner for a fee. No wifi avaliable.

Decent accommodation at a good price,.a short distance from the balcony walk. As mentioned by other reviewers there is no food available so you drive a few minutes to Jebels Shams resort where a buffet breakfast is OMR 4 and buffet dinner for OMR 7. There is also a very small food shop across the road & a decent coffee & cake place just around the corner on the way to the Jebel Shams Resort.

WiFi would be useful but we knew before this was not available and had a local SIM card anyway. Omantel mobile reception is very good at the accommodation.

Super close to the hiking trails, could actually see the summit of Jebel Shams from my bed. Heaps of parking. Nice quiet room with a decent shower. The guy working there was super friendly and went out of his way to assist us whether it was giving local recommendations or directions. We enjoyed the company of the friendly little cat who hangs around looking for pats. And for anyone reading this you can definitely drive up to the accommodation with a 2wd, the road is quite good even if it is dirt for the last 10kms.
