Old Square view apartment

L’appartement est très bien situé au cœur de la vielle ville. Il s’agit d’une zone piétonne, ce qui complique le parking mais c’était un choix de notre part d’être en hyper centre, donc nous y étions prêts. L’appartement est propre et confortable.

Pas d’eau chaude à notre retour de notre journée mer. Message à la propriétaire, appel pour l’alerter ( pas pour lui parler, mon niveau d’anglais ne me le permet pas, je passe par un traducteur). Cela fonctionne, elle voit mon message quelques minutes après, nous guettons impatiemment sa réponse, mais aucune réponse de sa part ne viendra … Pas une tentative de résoudre le problème, pas un mot d’excuse pour le désagrément que nous rencontrons… rien … elle lâche un vu dans le plus grand des calme !!! Inacceptable pour moi Quand on loue un appartement de ce standing, on offre un service minimum, l’eau chaude en fait partie, et quand bien même il y a un problème, le propriétaire est censé y répondre, et même s’il n’arrive pas à résoudre le problème, il a au moins la correction de répondre au locataire. Le soucis rencontré et surtout le comportement de la propriétaire ont gâché notre séjour. Nous faisions un road trip, sur la vingtaine d’hébergement réservés, il était le plus cher et le seul où nous avons été traités de cette manière… Madame, vous n’êtes pas à la hauteur de la prestation que vous proposez.

Perfect location. So central and near bakeries and supermarket. No-one to meet us on arrival but entry code was sent fairly quickly by text. Very clean. Good size for a family for a few nights. Enjoyed our stay.

The location of the property couldn’t have been better. Completely central in the old town, looking out onto a beautiful square.

Location location location! Loved opening the windows onto the large piazza and watching the crowds walk by or sitting at the cafes. Kitchenette- stove top, fridge, crockery cutlery. 1 minute walk to supermarket. Very quiet. New double glazed windows and shutters to the side that were good to open to let in cool air. Loved the old inner windows to the courtyard but also had double glazed windows so you didn't have noise. Air con was excellent. Bed very comfortable. Very good size room. Love having a real 🔑 to open the door. Price was very good for the time of the year and the owner was very easy to communicate with.

It was fine for us, as it was a last minute booking. Some people might find the decor a bit dated. The toilet would be difficult to manage if you were large as the width of the bathroom is narrow and the shower was next to the toilet ( but had a glass screen). But it really was a superb location, quiet, cool and had a kitchen and room to walk around. It was fine for us but people with large luggage and difficultly with stairs would find it a bit difficult. ( but that is everywhere I find in old parts of Europe).
