Old Square Apartment

Poor communication with host. Insistence on cash payment when stated the property accepted credit cards.

property is amazing, fantastic location just behind the square. it was clean and set up - we had requested a baby cot which was set up with linen/towels/some toys. couldn’t fault the property. fully equipped kitchen for any needs.

note the property only accepts cash payment. it does say card facilities in the property description however, this isn’t possible. they offered after a discussion a bank transfer option but made it very difficult to organise/wouldn’t send details over booking.com messaging. but otherwise the place is perfect :)

One floor up and quiet, central location. Comfy bed and clean apartment.

Well appointed but a washing machine would be great. Also a bit tricky to find down a lane behind a cafe.

Really well located and equipped (oil, sugar, coffee, iron, board games, etc). Modern apartment with all you need for a short stay, they even received us with cold water and fresh fruits. Quick and good communication. It exceeded our expectations!

would say is an apartment for 2 people but we were 4 and it was ok

The apartment and location were faultless. Clean and spacious with everything we needed. Praise to Ivana for her information and suggestions for trips. No hesitation in reccomending.

The reason for a rating of 8 and not 10 is based on communication and request at property for type of payment. Our acknowledgement stated credit card ,debit card etc. However Laura insisted that cash or bank transfer was her preferred option. This was NOT on the booking.com acknowledgement and we explained this to her. Still she asked if we had mobile app which we didn't, I explained that the details set up on our original booking would apply for payment and no other.She eventually agreed but we had to go out of ourway to her office to make payment at a stipulated time which seemed very unprofessional. Also,she promised receipt of this payment which I am still awaiting after messaging her about this. Overall this experience of cash/bank transfer demand from Laura seems unorthodox and slightly shady for whatever reason. We were not asked about our thoughts about the apartment from her so none given. On departure no one arrived to accept keys so we had to contact her again 20 minutes later than agreed. Ivana turned up to take keys.
