Black Bridge View Cottage Ella Sri Lanka

This is our second visit to this recently opened cottage. It was easy to locate using Google Maps and has a secure, free parking area. It is a lovely place to relax and stay. Although we traveled as a couple, there were two comfortable large beds that could also accommodate a family. You can order delicious food from the cottage owner, who prepares it for you. The place is impeccably clean, giving you a sense of being at home. The owner is very kind and helpful, and the location offers beautiful scenery, with a view of the black bridge on the Kital Ella railway track.

This place is a hidden gem in the mountains for nature lovers away from busy Ella. There is a beautiful view, also on the famous train, very quiet and private. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The food is amazing. The cottage has two big comfy beds. Highly recommended. You need a car or take a tuktuk to come there.

Really nice private getaway if you want to have alone time. Amazing view and very nice hosts. They were helping with everything and super kind. Food was prepared for us and tea served. So it was truly nice experience!

It was little bit difficult to find the road, but luckily the people around were very helpful. Better to ask the hosts meet you on the bigger road before going the first time. Hosts do not speak English very well yet, but they are learning so this is a good thing. And having google translate with you if you don't have anyone speaking Sinhala, is a good idea. Room heating I didn't see, but they have blankets. In the night time it can get a little bit cold in Ella, so bring your warm clothes and shoes!

It was simply an amazing experience. We had a wonderful time at the property, gorgeous private villa, beautiful location, gorgeous views and amazing hosts. The villa is spacious, newly built, clean and fully equipped. Highly recommend.
