Central Haifa Quite Place

We occupied two studios; while one was satisfactory, the other fell short of expectations. It was unclean, uncomfortable, and lacked hot water. There were noticeable stains on the sofa and the carpet seemed as though it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The apartment had a persistent smell of cigarette smoke, which even triggered a smoke alarm during the night. When I reached out to the proprietor about these issues, he apologized and guaranteed a refund, but it has yet to materialize.

Location

The apartment is very cosy and comfortable and is placed very close to the railway station.

The host was great and he let us choose from different rooms whichever met our expectations better. It is in a great location with lots of cute cafés and restaurants around in the beautiful Haifa.

We stayed there when the terror attack of Hamas started. We were very diffused and not sure when to get home (because every flight has been cancelled). So we were not sure, if we needed the apartment longer than booked. But if, where should we go in a country in the state of war? This was a very bad feeling. But Oleg was very nice in this unusual situation, he extended our stay for three more days, free of charge. That was really nice and gave us at least some safety. Thanks again! The apartment itself was a nice, small place with everything you need (kitchen has not so much items, but it was okay). We found the bed to be not so comfortable, but everything else was fine.
