The hot tub was nice it was cozy and private

You could tell some stuff was dusty and horrible cob webs around the porch but other then that it was a great home and comfortable space and we enjoyed it my friends also liked it and was thinking or renting it next time they go there

The cabin was not clean on arrival.

the cabin was awesome itself. it was clean, there were extra Supplies like trash bags, and laundry detergent. location is SUPER convenient. despite a HUGE inconvenience when checking in, the owner was in constant contact with me through email and I really appreciated that. we stayed at this cabin 4 years ago when it was owned by a local cabin rental company, and I loved it so much for my wife and kids, that I ended up calling the rental company, and had them look up the cabin, finding they sold it, and gave me the address, which I googled to find for rent on booking. I worked hard to get THIS cabin because it is my favorite.

even though it was out of the owners control a huge storm rolled through and killed power for a whole 24 hours. we had to buy lanterns and since place was on a well, we didn't have water, meaning we couldn't use the bathrooms but one single flush. it was miserable and it was so hot that first night I couldn't even sleep. I think there should be a small generator that kicks on in event of power failure, if nothing else but to keep water running. we had also bought some groceries before checking in as we had planned to cook, but they expired since fridge was out due to power. that was a waste of money which was annoying. again I know it's not owners fault that the storm knocked it out, but the inconvenience was a little hard to get over. Also upon checking in, the deadbolt batteries were very low power, and it took 8 tries to get the door open. however since I had to buy battery powered lanterns I had spare AA batteries and just went ahead and replaced them for owner, and so we could get in and out easier.

Everything was wonderful. Very close to activities, yet still far enough out for peace and quite. It was fantastic!!

there is nothing bad to say about our experience

The house was very nice, it was not clean when we arrived but host was very responsive and cleaning crew was quick and kind. They arrived and was cleaned within 2 hours very personable people and helpful for things in town.

The bed in the bigger room is amazing if you are in it alone but if there is 2 people in the bed you do fall towards the middle. The driveway is extremely steep we had a truck and a motorcycle, we left the motorcycle in town there was no way it would be making it up and down the incline of the drive.

Completely met our expectations. It was close to town but far enough out to be quiet. The inside was great and very comfortable. We had 1 little issue which was taken care of quickly. Overall it was a great experience and we will stay there again.
