Villa Kalamonari nature house, cycladic wilderness

Wonderful location! We stayed there as a family of five and had a great time at the beaches close by.

An idyllic stay in the middle of nature, facing the sea in a house isolated enough to be calm and enjoy the breathtaking scenery but also ideally placed to enjoy the superb beaches accessible on foot or visit the beautiful island of Andros with lots of advice on visits when we arrived. A fantastic stay that makes us want to come back immediately.

Excellent secluded location on our new favourite Greek island.

No AC (which we knew about and understand would be complicated to run on the solar panels).

Charming Greek stone country house maintained with love. Authentic and ecological - the house relays on photovoltaik and energy saving. The house is adjusted to comfortable stay: spacious, impecably clean, well equipped kitchen, surrounded by shady olive trees garden. Wonderful wind-protected roofed patio with sea view. No WiFi can be seen as opportunity for digital detox; if needed, mobile phone can be easily used as Hotspot. Spectacular location: on sea-side slope terraces, faced east - we enjoyed sunrise everyday. Far from main roads and very quiet, only natural sounds of sea, wind and cicadas. Walking distance to emblematic Tris Grias to Pidima sandy beach. Has also a tiny almost "private" beach below terraces. Local restaurants, Cafés, supermarket and bakeries in Korti can be also reached on foot (ca 20min). Hint: to reach the village faster take staircase next the church at the end of the promenade. Hint for hiking-lovers - beautiful Route 3b to Faneomeni, the Machu Picchu of Andros.

Keep in mind, that car is needed to reach the place. Last half km unpaved road might be a bit challenging and better to do by day light. Not optimal for people with limited mobility.
