Traditional Rural Cottage, haven for families with pets

We loved our stay with Tracy in the cottage. It was absolutely beautiful place and so relaxing. Tracy was a wonderful host and we will definitely be back.

No wood burning stove

Lovely cottage in the countryside with a cute pony, Teddy! We had a lovely stay with our dog. The cottage is very comfortable and the host, Tracy, is very responsive and accommodating. We would happily stay again :)

Only minor thing - kitchen could have a few more sharp knives for cooking and one of the blinds in the bedroom didn’t close all the way. Otherwise, excellent!

We were there for a family occasion in the area and the location was perfect. Coose Cottage is a quirky, interesting home, full of character. It was fascinating to look through the album of photos of the amazing restoration work that Tracy and her family did to bring an old building back to life. The kitchen is small, but who wants to do a lot of cooking on holiday, especially when there's good food available at The Half Barrel pub in nearby Whitegate. Tracy was a very welcoming and obliging hostess, and prior to arriving we communicated very quickly and effectively through WhatsApp. She also left us basic supplies - tea, coffee aand milk, brown bread, butter and jam. A very nice touch!

This is not a criticism, just a comment to make people aware. The stairs up to the bedroom and bathroom could be tricky for anyone with mobility difficulties. It's an old building and the individual steps are higher than modern houses. We're in our 70s and managed fine, but they would have been a problem for my wife prior to hip replacements.
