Beautiful accommodation. Everything you could need and great quality. Lovely comfortable bed. Very nice touch having tea, coffee, milk, biscuits and a bottle of wine waiting for us on arrival.

We had a lovely stay in Mack’s Shack and really enjoyed exploring the North Norfolk coast, in early November, which happened to coincide with Norfolk Restaurant Week. The cottage is in a great location, in a quiet area, but within easy walking distance of all the pubs, restaurants and shops in Wells. It’s also very close to bus-stops for the frequent coastal bus services. There’s a dedicated parking space at the property so it’s possible to leave the car and just walk (we did the circular Holkham Estate, Beach and Wells walk) or take the bus (we caught the bus to Blakeney and walked back on the Coast Path). The cottage itself is very well-equipped, nicely furnished and perfect for a short stay. We would definitely return for if visiting this part of Norfolk again.

In early November the weather suddenly turned a lot colder. There were radiators in all the rooms which came on in the late afternoon but we found the property chilly in the mornings, especially the bathroom. In fairness, there were two electric portable heaters which we were able to use to warm things up. I’m sure had we contacted the owner it might have been possible to change the heating timer settings so it’s genuinely not a complaint, more an observation. Other than this everything was brilliant.

Nice quiet location but not far from the town and Quay. Well appointed and nice outdoor area for warmer weather.

Perfect property for a relaxing break for two. Great location and perfect facilities with good parking. Lovely welcome gift on arrival. Would highly recommend.
