Casa Mariposa Beach Hotel

We enjoyed the tropical feel of the property, the interior design, the outdoor / beachfront / pool area and the communal kitchen. The rooms were cleaned daily, although I thought changing out our bath towels daily was unnecessary. Not all rooms have hot water for showers (ours didn't), not a big deal in the warm climate.

At booking, be sure to verify how many guests you are booking for. The owner charges more for two people vs one person. This resulted in an additional cost at check-in. Otherwise, everything was great.

The layout of the casa was super nice, with warm lights during the evening, the waves you could hear from the room, the hammocks to chill, the stars you could see at night. It is a place without many things to do around but if you want a quiet empty beach to calm your mind, wander in clean sand and watch birds catch fish in the ocean, this is the perfect place.

For the check-in it took me a moment to realize to go to the house opposite the road because they were not answering the phone. But immediately responded when i walked over and they were very nice.
