Annfield House, Callander

The house was beautiful, inside & out. Very comfortable and exceptionally clean. Lovely touches with the prosecco and (my favourite) Tunnocks teacakes. Great location, short walk to several decent restaurants and some lovely local shops. Plenty longer walks very close by too. The off-street parking was also a great bonus.

Nothing - we were even lucky with the weather!

The house is beautiful and very well equipped. Great care has been taken with the decor and furnishings of each room. We loved the views and watching the weather change from our warm lounge. Perfect for family games too.

Nothing! Though we did wonder about an escape route in case of fire.

David was there to meet us when we arrived, to show us where everything was and how to work the doors, heating, showers etc,

Perfect for our family get away! This was by far the cleanest self catering accommodation i have ever stayed at. It was like the kitchen was brand new. All the bedrooms were quiet and comfortable with great ensuites. There was a lovely fire in the dining room which made our family meals super cozy. There were 2 living rooms as well as a great outdoor space. Location was also ideal. Less than a minute walk to the main street with bakeries, pubs and great local shops. In the morning we went for a beautiful run up to a waterfall. The foot path and a cycle path are right on the doorstep. The owner greeted us and took us through everything we needed to know. He could not have done more for us. We are already talking about booking again for next year.
