The warm welcome and generally welcoming feel of Virginia House was excellent. Well equipped room with all that one might need during a stay. The location is in the centre of the town close to all transport links ie the train station. Road links etc

Superb apartment for 3 generations, each having own en-suite. Owners were extremely helpful, considerate and accessible. Apartment was huge with large family kitchen and lounge. Location was superb for local and Lake District access. House was characterful and a pleasure to stay

Parking was a bit challenging, but this was the nature of the location. Owners provided a free permit for street parking. We could usually find something very close.

Beautiful spacious newly renovated first floor apartment, in fact it was the whole of the first floor! It’s in a great location in Ulverston, handy for shops and restaurants. Really friendly hosts who greeted us on arrival and helped carry our bags in.! Very comfortable beds and good quality towels which I always like ! We felt very welcomed into their home😀 Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a stay in Ulverston . We are planning on going back in December.

One very minor comment would be that all the pillows are very firm…..an option of a softer pillow perhaps kept in wardrobe would be an additional benefit to this beautiful accommodation.
