Calm Side Villa Hikkaduwa

My second time here and I still cannot get enough of the garden view while having my morning coffee. This place is simply lovely and so is the owner.

Просто прекрасное уютное тихое место. Всё сделано со вкусом, есть всё необходимое для комфортного проживания, 5 минут на байке до ближайшего пляжа. Тук-туков также много проезжает по главной дороге, за 500 рупий довезут до основных мест Хиккадувы. Возможно не хватало холодильника, но мы жили в самом дешевом и маленьком шале. При этом мы спокойно воспользовались холодильником персонала, нам нужно было хранить лекарство там. Персонал и сам хозяин всегда очень быстро реагируют на любые просьбы. Нам всё очень понравилось и расстроились, что не было возможности продлить на более долгий срок. В общем, своих денег проживание в шале точно стоит)

I stayed for 02 nights there. The chalet was amazing. Highlight of the place was the private pool, absolutely loved it!! The room and the bathroom was very spacious & clean. Room offers all the facilities (living area, satellite tv, wardrobe, tea/coffee maker, etc...) you need for a perfect getaway. Breakfast was very good with few options to choose from. They had an À la carte menu for lunch and dinner, which was also very good. The property was also kept very clean and neat. Wish the owner and the team the very best for future! Would definitely visit again!!

Nice garden, location away from the noisy village, but still just a short tuktuk ride to beach (we recommend pickme app for quick and cheap rides). Nice and spacious bathroom with toiletries. You have access to fridge and washing machine in shared kitchen. Nice lounge area on the terrace. Fresh pineapple juice for welcome drink

Maybe we were there at a bad time, but there were some issues with cleanliness. We booked the villa with private pool, but we didn’t use the pool even once, because the water didn’t look appealing. We asked to clean it and they did it, but that didn’t have any effect and the water was still really hazy, so it appeared that the cleaning system was not functioning properly (don’t get it wrong, we don’t like to whine, but that really impacted our stay). The room had a storage area which we didn’t use, because they were not clean. The breakfast was ok, but it didn’t live up to Sri Lankan standards after travelling for two weeks. The bathroom was really nice and the place has so much potential!

Villa is new. Feels like paradise. Breakfast so good. Location perfect!! I would love to stay forever

Lovely fresh breakfasts daily. Helpful host helping to order tuk tuks to and from the beach and restaurants. Very relaxing chilled place to stay with great pool in the villa which was always nice and clean. Beautiful gardens and wildlife surrounding the villa Great food to order from Yaka 18 Kitchen facilities to do washing of clothes / cooking facilities / fridge and freezer to store food. Really enjoyed our stay and amazing value for money with lovely people running the place!
