They charge 3-4 times the normal price even for the simplest bottle of water in the minibar. No hotel in Bali charges for water like that.

Very nice accommodation in a quiet area. 5 min walk to the beach. The beaches are with black sand and strong waves at this time of the year. Very kind and friendly staff. From Guest House to the Safari Park are 5 minutes away walking.

There are no restaurants nearby. You order food with Grab, if you don't want it from the hotel menu, so you have to wait a long time for it to arrive. There is no exchange office nearby. But that's why you have their driver who can take you by car if you don't have your own motorbike.

The place is impeccable, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. Unfortunately, the city was flooded and declared a state of emergency overnight. The water rose to chest height inside the hotel. The manager remained calm and composed, arranging a boat to take guests safely to a dry area where we could catch a taxi to the airport. How did we get there? Through a second-floor balcony! With the help of the hotel staff, we and our luggage managed to get safely—and dry—onto the boat. It was quite an adventure with a happy ending. Thank you!
