DOMUS PRINCIPESSA - Chieti

Large, clean, stylish, quiet, centrally located. Not just a room, an enormous apartment with bedroom and kitchen-sitting room.

It was very central to Chieti (alto) but that's not hard as it's a 2-street town! Bed was comfortable. "Breakfast" was some yoghurts in the fridge, some jam, cookies and long-life jammy/sweet croissants. Butter, crackers and milk was provided, plus some tea bags and coffee pods (not enough). There was an ice cream shop (Gelaterria) a few doors down - which was great as nothing else was open except for take away pizzas!!

The road outside was very noisy (even just with one-way traffic). The building feels like a converted church/chapel - the bedroom was large, but very barren and dark with no natural windows. The lounge was the same - dark with no natural windows. All/any light came through glass doors from the corridor so we had to have the lights on in the main rooms, in spite of it being very sunny outside! Generally very gloomy inside and no outside area - apartment opens straight onto the street. Also not recommended for disabled/elderly as there are 5 (very!) steep steps from the bedroom/shower room, up/down to the kitchen, dining room.

Great appartment. Great location.

very easy and kind communication about check-in (in italiano, but translator manages it😊) = keys are in the box with code so it doesn't matter when you come late, good location, parking at the house is not guaranted but it's free during the night till 8am, property is spacious and there is everything needed
