cosy cottage in snowdonia

Quiet location just 10 minutes drive from Porthmadog town. Modern interior cottage with electric radiators throughout and a log burner in the living room. Very big bed in the master bedroom and a single with pull out single underneath in the second bedroom. Both bedrooms have a smart tv. Although connected to the WiFi, couldn't get live tv on either, but access to youtube was fine for us. Living room has live tv as well as apps. The kitchen is well equipped with the usual appliances, but also had an airfryer. Some basics were included such as tea, instant coffee, sugar, uht milk pots, and some nice biscuits. The bathroom was spacious, with over bath shower. The living room has two 2 seater sofas, and we admit, we dragged them a little closer to the fire as they just seemed a little too far away from the tv and fire and this was much cosier. The cottage is equipped with good WiFi. Parking is excellent, with room for 3 or 4 cars, but all just for you. There is a back garden, and side bistro area, but this is enclosed by a low gate, so dog owners be aware before letting them out for the first time.

Only tiny thing was the need for a mirror and/ or dressing table in the bedroom. We have mentioned this to the host, and this is on their list to resolve in the near future.

We had a great time in the cottage. Everything was clean and smelled nice, the bed was very comfortable, and the bedding was pleasant. It was cozy and warm.

Modernised interior with most of what you would need for a stay. Comfortable, relaxing and quiet.

Hard to pick my finger on it, but it just felt a bit impersonal overall.

Cleanliness and privacy, has all the stuff for cooking, games for kids, instructions for the main attractions, and a very warm fireplace 🙂 A convenient location for so many tourist attractions

I like that we have all house just for us. Is good idea about key safe, we travel from west Midlands and then was hard to say what time we can arrive. And we really came late and with key safe - no trouble for owner. There are everything what you need for stay. We enjoyed that we can cook own meal or just warm up. We liked to spend time in lounge, playing games, chatting and watching TV.

Little uncomfortable with beds in smaller room. My son slept on couch but he was alright with that.
