Baan Glangsuan Bang Kobua

Modern house in quiet rural spot in this peaceful villagey area. Little balcony looked onto established gardens with huge palms etc and we saw squirrels and heard plenty of birds. Delighted to have access to bikes free of charge (and you could pay for electric ones) -they were needed as there was nowhere to eat nearby and gave us access to the lovely green park. The homestay was good value for money.

It would have been nice if the owner could have provided a basic breakfast as there was nowhere within walking distance. Ok with bikes to get traditional little pastries being cooked along the roadside. Lack of restaurants for supper would be a problem without bikes, only one we could find anyway; some closed but the place was not busy with tourists so that was a plus. Price of taxi to the airport seemed excessive.

Beautiful room, lovely location

I loved that this property was on a quiet side street, and it was peaceful to stay here. I slept very well, and enjoyed the spacious and clean room! It was also great to be able to take a short kayak ride on the canal, and to borrow bicycles to explore the island and the floating fish market. There are lots of nice park areas, cafes, and bakeries on the island so you can take breaks if you get hot and tired while biking. This was a great spot to stay outside of the city for a few nights in a more relaxed and natural environment!

One of the wonderful things about this property is that it is outside of the hustle of central Bangkok! However, that also makes it more logistically challenging to reach the property and leave the property at the end of your stay. There are a couple of piers where you can get a ride to the other side of the river, or you can take the bus to reach a market where you can get a taxi or Grab (the owners helped me do this!). Because it is more isolated, I would recommend staying for at least two nights!

Very nice and clean rooms. Best place i've stayed in Thailand. Owner is really kind and works really hard to keep everything nice and tidy. Big room, good and quiet AC, nice warm shower with good water pressure, good matress and pillows, lush greenery outside. There are some e-bikes you can rent, which were very convenient. There was a nice balcony. I really enjoyed just sitting there, watch the squirrels and other animals roaming around, listen to the sounds of Bangkok. Even the neighbours were so kind and invited us to their sunday karaoke party. If you want to stay in the Green Lung of Bangkok (which is a nice experience on it's own), go to this place. Thank you.

Affordable place. Good Location from Bang Nam Puang Market. Close to nature and activities such as kayak(100THB per person), Free bicycle to rent to go around the area easily. Our stay feel like visiting the family in countryside. Recommended for staycation.

Not major issue but it would be great to pay more attention about bathroom hygienic. Not that bad but could be better although it didn't affect our stay.

Loved the comfortable beds, the free use of bikes, large rooms with lovely balcony views overlooking lush green surroundings and bird song. Would highly recommend staying on the Green Lung if you want some peace from Bangkok.

There were constantly lots of ants in the bathroom, even as soon as we checked in. But they didn't come into the bedroom so weren't really a problem.

Spacious and clean room. Lovely area with lots of plant nurseries. Friendly and helpful staff. Bicycles and kayaks available for use free of charge. All in all a really nice spot to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.

We simply loved our stay here! We had a wonderful big room with a balcony with a calming and lucious green garden view. The rooms and The house are very clean and kept clean and tidy every day. There was free water, coffee, tea and a small mini bar in the room. We can highly recommend a stay here!
