Anantara Ubud Bali Resort

Das Hotel ist ganz neu eröffnet und man merkt die frische, moderne Atmosphäre. Besonders gefallen haben mir die vielen tollen Insta-Spots, die ruhige Lage abseits der Touristenmassen und trotzdem sehr zentrale Anbindung. Das Essen war hervorragend und das Personal außergewöhnlich freundlich – das Beste, das ich bisher erlebt habe.

Wenn ich etwas nennen müsste, dann den Raumduft im Zimmer – der war für meinen Geschmack etwas zu orientalisch. Schön wäre es, wenn man hier eine kleine Auswahl oder neutrale Variante hätte. Aber das ist Meckern auf sehr hohem Niveau.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Room service and room cleaning was very good. Amazing vibe, we had a villa and we loved our view it was a dream waking up to the forest view!

Next time I will prefer a villa closer to the pool and restaurants as it was a hassle going down the lifts and a bit of a walk just to get to our room.

The property is spacious, spotless, and beautifully maintained, with courteous, friendly, and attentive staff. Surrounded by lush greenery, it offers the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, allowing you to relax and enjoy the fresh air in a peaceful setting.

The hotel is situated about 45 minutes from Ubud town, in a remote village, so I would not recommend driving there after 10:00 PM. During my trip to Bali, I stayed in three different 5-star hotels, and while most offered an extensive variety of breakfast options, Anantara’s selection was more limited. This isn’t a complaint, as I understand that with fewer guests compared to other hotels, a vast spread could lead to food wastage. However, I would suggest rotating the breakfast menu daily to add more variety for guests staying multiple days.
