ABODE Backpacker's Hostel

The view was superb , loved the ambience , was very neat and clean, staff were all friendly and cooperative..

Without a vehicle, reaching the place was a bit difficult. If you are not familiar with the area, you might miss the entrance road the first few times, as there were no lights along the way.

The hosts were friendly. Cute dog on property. Amazing views from the room.

Had such a memorable stay at Abode in Coorg. What really made it special were the people. Dev, the host, is not just warm and welcoming but also an incredibly skilled driver—our trek ride with him was smooth and fun throughout. Big shoutout to Anuja, the co-host who was volunteering—she took great care of everyone and made sure we were always comfortable. The vibe of the place brought together some amazing, like-minded solo travelers who quickly turned into friends. And of course, I’ll definitely miss Pistachio 🐾 I’m already looking forward to coming back for more of those late-night conversations. Would highly recommend Abode to fellow travelers—it’s a space that truly welcomes people from all age groups and genders. Grateful for the experience, the conversations, and the little moments. Charging way too much for less than bare minimum

The manager is very cooperative...the place is very clean and well maintained..it was a very good stay with very good views and location. Very quite and peaceful atmosphere.
