Pestana South Beach Miami

The staff was excellent. What a great group of people. So friendly and accomodating. The place felt like home after only two days. The pool looks so nice but we were on business and I never got the change. The even have bikes to borrow but again, we had no time.

The place needs some sprucing up. The door to our bathroom made so much noise it was impossible to go in and out in the middle of the night. Otherwise I have no complaints.

The location was excellent , right near Lincoln Road, 5 minutes pleasant walk. Lincoln Road , loads of great shops open air restaurants and bars. Equally it is a 5-10 minute walk to the beach where the hotel provides you with loungers and umbrellas, which is actually another beach club you get a voucher for. Additionally there are bikes at the hotel where , free for an hour, and then charged after that. The bike ride down Ocean drive is a bucket list must ! So cool , head to south point pier. You can go the opposite direction for miles along the beachfront. At the hotel I had a large double room suite , which was a huge 2 bedrooms , 1 with an ensuite, living room ( that also operates as a bedroom, again with a separate bathroom). So in summary the suite was huge , kept very clean, with good facilities. The pool area although small was great to chill out in away from the busy city, again always kept clean.

Although the room was excellent (space wise) it was very noisy!! There is a huge air conditioning cooling unit on top of the building where the suites are, and I mean huge! This vibrates all night and is a constant loud humming noise. We bought some ear plugs and that helped. However at a cost of almost $4000 for 4 nights you should not be buying ear plugs! We told the hotel, they were polite but did nothing. If I went back to the hotel I would never stay in that room again 2402 (I think it was) . Although the breakfast food was very basic, it was chaotic. Plates left around, never any cutlery, exactly the same thing every day. Basic chap meats, cheese , eggs , sausage and bagels. Whilst it was fine some days , it would have been nice to see a change. If you're staying in a cheap room and it comes with breakfast then fine. However for $4k it was not the right standard. I would go back but not get breakfast.

Não tinha elevador para subir e descer do andar com malas. O café da manhã era extremamente pobre e repetitivo. O restaurante extremamente simples, e sem muitas opções. Não tem estacionamento, e o estacionamento próximo é publico, e você tem que contar com a sorte de ter vaga disponível, e eles costumam vender mais acessos a carros do que vagas realmente disponíveis, o que torna um transtorno quando você chega e não tem a vaga pela qual você pagou disponível. Location is nice.

It’s three different buildings, the other building we stayed was basically old and needs maintenance. The way you had to take to enter/leave the building is not practical.

Dos funcionários, do café da manhã e do beach club na praia. O funcionário Juan foi muito bacana ao conseguir um quarto melhor e mais silencioso. O funcionário Daniel tbem foi muito prestativo com as malas.

A primeira noite não dormi a noite inteira por conta do barulho. Tinha uma goteira que pingou no teto acima a noite toda, parecia uma tortura. Ao reclamar na recepção me mudaram de quarto e deram um quarto melhor, a segunda noite foi bem confortável. Hotel bem antigo , precisando de uma boa reforma. Por ser da rede pestana imaginava outra qualidade de hotel.
