Super large seaview house

The house is massive with plenty of room. Good value for money. $15 uber into town. Views are amazing. Would stay again.

The house had been double booked when we arrived and the other guests had vandalised the property so we couldn't get in. Had to wait in the rain for the owner to arrive with a key. No compensation for this when we asked for a late checkout. There were no plates or hand towels. The property is a little warn out and could do with some tlc but the price reflects this. The road to the property is windy.

The views, easy access to public transport, facilities, plenty of space.

It was a bit tired, cupboards didn't shut properly, no comfortable chairs in the lounge.

The View is spectacular!

The house is filthy, every surface needs a thorough scrub, with wet used kitchen cloths on bench and stained tea towel on oven door on arrival. Broken key box took ages to reclose. Awful synthetic mismatched sheets on master bed unsure they were clean as there was hair in it had to put towels down. Beds in other rooms uncomfortable sunken needing replacement. We were with 6 no one slept! The bins were full, toilet paper no where to be found only a few sheets left on each roll in the 3 toilets. Several broken cupboard door latches and windows that need work making it difficult to open safely. The house smelt bad upon arrival musty and very hot. Spiderwebs….A shame it’s so neglected as it was once a beautiful home. Previous persons review was understated not over as I thought when booking.

The location was the only good aspect of this property.

I travel regularly and stay at AirBnBs etc, this place is mediocre. I had to ring the hosts for the key code, after they said they would email it to me. The house has a musty smell and needs to be aired regularly. It needs a thorough clean from the entrance to the kitchen and bathrooms. The oven, shower caddy, windows & ledges all need a good clean. Throw out leftover food etc from previous guests. The house lacks basic items like decent tea/coffee cups, hot water kettle and other dishware. I had to ask for tea cups, bath mats, hand towels and dish clothes. For the price, I expected better quality.
